After the COVID-19 situation that had struck the entire world, there is finally some relaxation in travel-related restrictions by the government. However, Goa Tourism has released a detailed list of advisory to ensure the safety of both travelers and business owners. Taking the economic conditions in mind, Goa’s government has taken a significant step in setting up three major adventure sports in Goa, sky diving being one of them.

Goa is widely known for its list of adventure sports and serene yet lively beaches. Tourists from all over the world highly enjoy the electrifying environment of this state with blue skies, high tides, and white-sandy beaches. Sky Diving is one of the most enjoyable adventure sports in Goa.

Sky Diving in Goa Location

Sky diving adventure sport is soon to be launched in the Quitol in South Goa, near the Mobor beach location. The tentative date of launch is December 2020, but it is yet to be finalized.

We are all aware of the natural, scenic beauty of Goa. Whether it is the beaches or the historical monuments in the state, or even the alluring churches depicting the history of Portuguese culture in Goa, the government has decided to go one step further and include new, exciting ways to attract the tourists.

Sky Diving in Goa Cost

As per the approximate cost of Sky diving, a Tandem Jump in India costs around ₹ 27,000 to ₹35,000.

The government is still working on the entire plan, which is to be launched around December 2020. The plan is still under process with the approvals needed to be passed by the official bodies; hence there is no exact pricing list that has been released yet.

Things to know - Goa Sky Diving

The excitement of tourists is at par ever since the announcement of soon to be launched sky diving adventure sport in South Goa.

But, what are going to be the instructions to book your seats and the eligibility criteria? Let us share with you all the guidelines you must keep in mind when planning to skydive in Goa.

  • As you book your sky diving tickets, it will be followed by receiving a confirmation.
  • At the time of booking, one submit the proof of date of birth of each participant. Also, providing a valid phone number is mandatory.
  • If a lady is pregnant, the adventure sport must be avoided. Strictly Not recommended for Pregnant Women.
  • People suffering from serious health issues such as heart problems or any other medical condition should not participate to avoid mishappening.
  • The minimum age of participating in the sky diving adventure is 16 years. Children below this age group are not allowed due to safety measures.
  • Any person between the age 16-17 willing to participate in sky diving activity must carry a signed authorization on the waiver from their parents or any legal guardian.
  • People aged 70 years or above must carry a medical form signed by their doctors approving of their physical fitness.
  • The maximum age of any person willing to participate in the Tandem Jump must not exceed 100 kg.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and footwear to avoid any discomfort during the sky diving experience.
  • Everyone, including the spectators, must carry their IDs or passport to enter the airfield.
  • People who have any kind of medical condition have to get the medical form assigned by the sky diving authorities to be signed by a doctor.
  • The best thing about the sky diving facility is that it is accessible for even the spectators in wheelchairs.
  • It is allowed for the children to join as spectators, but they need to be accompanied by an adult throughout their presence.
  • The sky diving, tandem jump rides are subjected to favorable weather conditions.
  • In case of cancellations of sky diving adventure due to poor weather conditions, you get to have a full-refund option or choose an alternative date for participating in the adventure sport.
