Fort Aguada In Goa - Timing, How To Guide

Today what remains of the once a time, formidable and invincible fort in India, is yet something that you cannot deny its presence. Tourists visit here to take a look at the panoramic ocean vista, famous for the confluence of Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. The fort Built in 1864, a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese architect, along with a lighthouse, stands proudly in Goa.

There you can witness typical Portuguese style architecture. The Aguada lighthouse is the oldest of the kind in Asia. Lighthouse is Located just 100meter away from the Fort. Once, it used oil lamps to emit light in every seven minutes, which later was upgraded to emit light in every 30 seconds.
