The Chapora river is one of Goa’s most scenic water bodies that originates at Ramghat and borders the twin taluks of Bardez and Pernem before merging to the west into the endless blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Placed to the north of this river is the village of Morjim and the Vagator beach is towards its south. In the ancient times, dating back to about 300 years, this river was known to mark the Indo-Goa Portuguese boundary. This river is unique and its beach comprises of stones and sands.
